How it works
From assessment to a job that actually fits
First Call scores you on how you sell, then explains every match instead of hiding it behind an algorithm.
1. The sales assessment
Five parts: your background, self-reported performance, the tools you have used, what you want from your next role, and scenario questions that reveal how you handle objections, discovery and closing. It takes around 15 minutes and you can come back to it.
2. Your sales profile
We score 13 sales skills including prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, discovery, closing, negotiation, follow-up discipline, CRM hygiene and leadership. You also get an experience level from Sales Trainee through to Sales Leader, with the reasoning shown so you can challenge it.
3. Match scoring
Each job is scored from 0 to 100 against your profile: skills fit, experience fit, industry familiarity, compensation compatibility, location and work arrangement, and how well the role type suits how you like to sell. Nothing is hidden — every job shows what it liked and what it flagged.
4. Conflicts and gaps
If a role is commission-only and you told us you need a base, or the commute is beyond your radius, we mark it as a hard conflict rather than quietly ranking it lower. Where you are just short of a requirement, we point you at the First Call training that closes it.
